1. ABOUT THIS PROJECT

NurVai (nurvai.pages.dev) is an independent AI chatbot project created by Nur Khan, a developer from Khulna, Bangladesh. This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, or any other AI company.

NurVai uses publicly available AI APIs (such as Groq, OpenRouter, and Google Gemini) to power its chat features.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you use NurVai, we may collect:

• Google Account Info — Your name, email address, and profile picture (via Google OAuth login)
• Chat Messages — Messages you send may be temporarily processed by third-party AI APIs to generate responses
• Usage Data — Basic usage patterns stored in Cloudflare KV for rate limiting and abuse prevention

We do not collect payment card details, national ID, or sensitive personal documents.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

• To authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In
• To provide AI chat responses through third-party APIs
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
• To improve the service and fix bugs

4. CHAT LOGGING & MODERATION

Chats may be temporarily logged for moderation and abuse prevention purposes. We do not sell, share, or use your chat content for advertising. Logs are periodically deleted and are not stored permanently.

Third-party AI providers (Groq, OpenRouter, Google Gemini) may have their own data retention policies. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

NurVai uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication
• Cloudflare Pages & Workers — Hosting and backend
• Groq API — AI inference
• OpenRouter — AI model routing
• Google Gemini API — Fallback AI responses

Each of these services operates under their own privacy policies.

6. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. All connections to NurVai are served over HTTPS via Cloudflare. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

NurVai is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of NurVai after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
